The decision of an assistant defense minister once again illustrates the great influence of Laura Loomer, a conspirator known for her racist outings, on the government of Donald Trump whose attentive ear she obtained.
On Tuesday, she denounced in X the “terrible” hiring of Jen Easterly, former owner of the American cybersecurity agency Cisa, as a social science professor in West Point, the most prestigious of American military academies.

Referring to “taupes” within the Ministry of Defense, Laura Loomer said he did not bear that people appointed under the administration of the Democrat Joe Biden obtain positions under that of the Republican Donald Trump.
And less than 24 hours later, she won.
The deputy minister of the defense responsible for the army, Dan Driscoll, announced Wednesday in X “put an end to the recruitment of Jen Easterly for a chair within the Faculty of Social Sciences of West Point.
He also demanded that the military academy located near New York makes a “full review” of its hiring procedures.

The senior official had also broken the unfounded accusations of large -scale electoral cheating during the 2020 election, an electoral defeat that Donald Trump and part of his electorate, denouncing alleged fraud, have never really accepted.
In the spring, Laura Loomer, according to the American press, had managed to obtain from Donald Trump the head of the boss of the powerful electronic intelligence agency NSA, accused of “disloyalty”, and the doctor of the president, accused of being “pro-vaccin”.
