The humorist French -speaking Yacine Nemra launches with his first show

Passed through the airwaves and sketches of Color3the humorist Yacine Nemra embarks on the French -speaking boards with an introspective spectacle as funny as it is touching.

In Yacine Nemra is weakit all starts with a happy childhood, where the young Yacine believes himself a genius, an elected official intended to achieve great things. He knows it, because we keep repeating to him that he is special. This extraordinary child is capable of reading the newspaper at three years old and he has encyclopedic knowledge which allows him to classify all breeds of dogs. With such potential, he sees himself on rails that will propel him towards glory and the radiant future in which he is supposed to mark history.

Except that his ambitions to become Luke Skywalker, Zinedine Zidane or Guy Parmelin will come up against a wall: that of reality. Growing up, Yacine will fall from the top of her megalomania. Not only has he become a normal guy, but, he must, in addition, compose with anxiety, a colon disease, and his talents to succeed in the first time are revealed, in practice, quite limited.

From this descent to disillusionment and depression was born Yacine Nemra is weak, An intimate spectacle that moves away from stand-ups to offer sincere introspection, in the company of its facetious microphone André (yes, a microphone with eyes), which never fails to throw scathing valves at the slightest occasion.

This story of resilience begins with an epic credits and sung to the glory of the humorist, seeming straight out of an animated cartoon from Club Dorothée. The tone is set: Yacine Nemra is a megalo zinzin. This autobiographical story will, for an hour, mix moments of authentic life and improbable achievements, like “I would have liked to be Hitler … but in kind”.

A tour show

After the crash test of his first show at the Bar Club ABC in Lausanne, as part of the fortnight of the Boulimie theater stand-up last March, the Lausanne humorist also had the honor of performing at the Morges-sous-Rire festival in June. Now sure of himself, Yacine is preparing to skim the French -speaking rooms this second semester: he begins this Thursday, August 21 at the Théâtre de l’Orangerie de Genève which displays complete, Before performing in Neuchâtel on September 3 and 4, in Friborg in October and in Vevey in November.

One of the French -speaking faces of humor

You may not know Yacine Nemra, but you’ve surely already seen or heard on RTS airwaves and networks. Humorist on Color3 in the show Broken armshe notably signed his recurring chronicle Did you know?filled with absurd anecdotes. We also find it in the sports show 3th halfwhich he co-hosts, as well as in the cultural program Vertigo on the first.

Yacine is also an actor, trained in theatrical improvisation, the same discipline as the hilarious Blaise Bersinger, with whom he had his arms since his childhood. Of his experiences within the family Color3 was born in 2021 the play People dieco-wrote with his acolytes Yann Marguet, Julien Doquin de St-Preux, Blaise Bersinger and Valérie Paccaud. Together, they also participated in the realization of the three seasons of the very funny series in Sketches Good well here For RTS.

The 35-year-old actor and humorist is also a man in the shadows, since he also acts as a co-author for Yann Marguet in his chronicles Strongly that we have died For the daily program on TMC, the other big Swiss talent that now makes France laugh. And talents, Yacine does not lack around him. For his own show, the humorist was able to count on sizes such as actress Tiphanie Bovay-Klameth at the staging, or her counterpart Thomas Wiesel to help him write the acerbic replicas of André, his micro joker.

But the real diamond of this one on stage remains its creator and performer, who, in total transparency, reveals his faults with humor and simplicity, until becoming deeply touching. A rare feat in humor, when it comes to arouse real emotions, those that make the eyes wet. This is particularly the case when he talks about his depression, which he tries to relieve whiskey before discovering therapy. Existential crises which each of us can be confronted one day or another.

We laugh at him, but we laugh above all with him when he tells us about his colon diverticulosis, a disease by which we “shit blood” and which almost kills him “the ass in the air”. From this self -mockery necessarily arises empathy, especially when he opens his shirt to show us his scars (it is a metaphor if ever, he keeps his clothes all along).

Yacine Nemra may not have saved the world or conquered Broadway, but he defeated his demons, he went on stage, stood up, and he made us laugh. At a time when masculinism is skyrocketing, when the need to appear has never been so strong, and where each parent sees in their child an exceptional being, Yacine reminds us, with all the madness that characterizes it, that being vulnerable is to be human and that it is in the little things that big things are hidden. And for that, we can only be grateful to him.

“Yacine Nemra is weak” will be at the Théâtre de l’Orangerie in Geneva on August 21, in Neuchâtel at the Tais-ài Théâtre on September 12 and 13, at the new world of Friborg on October 3 and at the Théâtre de la Grenette de Vevey from November 5 to 8, 2025.
