A smaller battery to make room (but there is hope)
In other words, the iPhone 17 Air should have a small battery, compared to current standards. Therefore, this model may not suit those who use their smartphones intensively. However, there is still hope, because it is quite possible that Apple finds means to compensate for this small battery, so that the iPhone 17 Air has acceptable autonomy.
First of all, the iPhone 17 Air could use the internal developed 5G modem, which could increase energy efficiency. The firm could also rely on new iOS features which reduce the energy consumption of the device. And, finally, it is also possible that the battery of the iPhone 17 Air uses a new chemical composition which makes it possible to store more energy on the same volume.
