A 3D rendering of protective shells of the range of iPhone 17 shows a rearrangement of magsafe magnets, with a modification for the iPhone 17 pro
A few months ago, rumors indicated a modification of the position of the magsafe magnets on the iPhone 17, down the chassis. The cause? The bump of the photo block, much more imposing for the iPhone 17 pro and 17 pro max.
A new 3D rendering would therefore confirm the lowering of the magnets on the next Apple iPhone, with more work for the magnets of the Pro range.
The ring has its perfect circle
It is on the Chinese social network Weibo that an internet user, named after Unclepanpublishes a rendering of what the protective shells could be for the next iPhone 17.
This rendering shows magsafe magnets positioned lower than we can know with the current range. The more imposing photo block could be a plausible explanation. The iPhone 17 Pro seems to have more important work on the arrangement of its magnets: finished the perfect circle, a cut is clearly visible on the bottom of the main ring.
Several theories circulate on the reason for this choice, between economies of magnets, arrival of a steam chamber, or repositioning of the logo … difficult to disentangle the true from the false.
If cutting the lateral button dedicated to the camera is easily visible, or can however notify the absence of cutting dedicated to a new “pro” button, as certain rumors could indicate its existence. In addition, these renderings are obviously to be taken with tweezers. AppleInsider warns that the Internet user had already been mistaken at the subjects of Apple Watch bracelets a while ago.
In any case, the next Apple smartphones will not be presented before September. We will still have to wait to discover what the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 air, iPhone 17 pro, and iPhone 17 pro Max will look like.
