The Israeli security firm approved the security plan presented by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the night of Thursday to Friday to “defeat” Hamas in the Gaza Strip, a statement from the Prime Minister’s offices said.
According to this plan, the Israeli army “is preparing to take control of the city of Gaza while distributing humanitarian aid to the civilian population outside of combat zones,” said this press release.
“The security cabinet- with a majority vote- adopted five principles to conclude the war: the disarmament of Hamas; the return of all the hostages -before and dead -; the demilitarization of the Gaza strip; Israeli security control in the Gaza Strip; The establishment of an alternative civil administration which is neither Hamas nor the Palestinian authority, ”adds the text.
“A decisive majority of the cabinet ministers also considered that an alternative plan” subject to the ministers’ exam “would neither allow Hamas or to recover the hostages,” said the press release, without giving other details.
