In an 18 -page judgment, the court chaired by Céline Peiffer, assisted by two other judges of great experience, dissected her expectations in three chapters. The first concerned the qualification of prevention. After recalling the foundations of the law to define the difference between assassination and murder and having taken up the elements of the file, the judges considered that we were in the presence of attempted murders with premeditation (assassination), which assume that the accused intended to kill.
Five years of provision of the sentencing court
The second part of the judgment concerns the progress of the facts, taken up with great precision of details. A reading that is cold in the back, in a mixture where the sordid mixes with breathtaking violence for a futile motif.
Finally, the psychiatric relationship poses the important problem in its conclusion, evoking a very worrying risk of dangerousness and potential recurrence. The future protection of the company is essential and, in such cases, may arise the question of finding an effective solution, even if the release of the prisoner will not be looming for several years. The court responded by adding to eleven years sentence, a provision of Bryan de Greif at the sentence court for a period of five years.
On the civil level, the judges granted the two victims a provision of € 5,000 on a damage estimated at € 75,000 for one and € 100,000 for the other.
