The main thing was to participate in the French championship

The miracle will not have taken place but it was a great first experience at this level on weekends from July 18 to 20 in Dardilly in the Rhône. Indeed, a team from Jacou Sport Boules, had qualified for the French championship brilliantly. The team was made up of Christophe Albano, Armand Ancinas, Christophe Cottet Moine, Christian Gonsolin and José Lima. After losing the first part 6 to 8 after 2 hours of hard play, the jacoumards won the second on the score of 8 to 7 after 2 hours of play. The dam part would therefore decide the (or not) suite of the competition. There too, the suspense lasted during the 2 hours of playing and it was on a blow of fate that this quadrette bowed on the score of 10 to 11. The team will however keep a good memory of their participation in a French championship on the original Lyon ball now called Sport-Boules. The President thanks the Boulist Committee of Hérault, the Montpellier Boulist Sports Entente and the Sponsors (Global Prosthesis Laboratory, Abilio de Lima Plantaire, Buddrini butcher’s shop and the wine Barack) for their precious financial participation, the Amicale Boulist de Jacou for the meal organized for a fundraising as well as the municipal sports office for jacou.
