The 35 -year -old man who burned his 41 -year -old companion on Thursday was arrested after falling from the roof where he entrenched himself on Friday evening. He was transported to hospital around 02:00, after spending more than an hour negotiating with the police.
The surroundings of a house for sale and unoccupied in the Kazernelaan had been closed around 11:15 p.m. Police services identified the electric scooter on which the individual fled on Thursday.
The latter had entrenched himself on the roof of the empty house and threatened to jump. He finally fell. The firefighters administered first aid on the spot, before taking him to the hospital.
The 41 -year -old vital prognosis was still hired on Friday evening.
