The new PSEM (sectoral plan for the exploitation of materials), published last June after modifications made to a first version released in 2024, does not appeal to the citizen group for a sustainable PSEM. In early July, he was notably joined by the Bulle collective. In a joint press release, the two collectives call on the public to mobilize against this new text.
According to them, the DIME still does not answer most of the background questions raised since 2024, and the choice as well as the weighting of the many evaluation criteria remain “very random, even arbitrary”. The group therefore maintains its conclusions, in particular the demand for a minimum distance of 200 meters between homes and gravières. This requirement is part of the revision of the regional planning law and constructions (LATEC), also put in consultation.
Mobilize against the PSEM
Based on a letter of the dimension specifying that “all other legal or physical persons can of course also express themselves on the modifications of the PSEM which follows the first consultation, through their municipality or directly with the construction and development service”. The citizen group for a sustainable PSEM believes that the new consultation is public and not reserved for municipal authorities.
He therefore invited those interested in consulting the file transmitted by the Dime to the municipalities, published on the website of the Aquassive Giblousian Association. The group also requests an extension of one month of the consultation period, which it wishes to be extended until the end of September.
