The next Apple Vision Pro would catch up on an essential point

New clues discovered in Apple signed code lines suggest that the next generation of pro vision will be equipped with an Apple M5 chip. This would be an important technological front leap for the brand’s mixed reality headset.

Towards a much more powerful pro 2 vision? In fact, the opposite would be disconcerting, but new clues confirm us in the idea that the next mixed reality headset of Apple would, in fact, offer a level of performance much higher than that of the current model, equipped with an aging M2 chip.

The careful examination of codes, unfortunately published by Apple, has indeed enabled one of the contributors to the specialized media Macrumors To have wind that the Apple Vision Pro 2 would be well equipped with the future Apple M5 chip.

This processor should as a reminder equip a whole hunting of Mac and MacBook from this fall … and it is therefore in this context that it would also integrate the next pro vision.

A track to be taken with (a little) of perspective …

As admitted Macrumorsthe sources still struggle to agree on the chip that Apple will use on the new version of his helmet.

A few months ago, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had announced that the device would be motorized by a M5 chip; But Mark Gurman, journalist for Bloomberg, explained for his part that Apple would rather be satisfied with an M4 chip – installed since spring 2024 on iPad Pro, and since last fall on many Mac and MacBook.

The doubt is therefore still allowed, even if the track of an adoption of the M5 chip by the pro 2 vision now seems a little more supported.

Anyway, the Apple Vision Pro 2 should not upset the formula that we know so much. Expected from this end of 2025, the device would take over the design and most of the technical specifications of its predecessor, but with a new chip and potentially a new attachment system allowing it to wear it more comfortably during long sessions of use.
