The Ontario team wins the Sun Life Canada Hoops tournament in men and women

The national championships of 3 against 3 U23 highlighted Canadian talent and pride in The Bentway

TORONTO, August 12, 2025 / CNW/ – Canada Basketball, in concert with the Sun Life, is proud to announce that the team of theOntario won first place in men and women in Sun Life Canada Hoops, the main national championship of 3 against 3 U23 at Canada. The tournament took place on August 9 and 10 in The Bentway, downtown Torontotransforming the urban space under the Gardiner highway into a showcase of the best young Basketball Talents 3 against 3 in Canada. The women’s team will represent the Canada at the Pilipinas United tournament of 3 against 3 in Manila, at Philippineson August 23 and 24, and the male team will represent the Canada in Brasilia Challenger in Brasiliain Brazil, September 13 and 14.

During the two days of intense competition, the male and female U23 elite teams from across the country clashed for national supremacy in the 3 format against 3, which is rapidly growing. In the final, in the female and male categories, the team of theOntario Faced with the Quebec team and came out victorious.
