The president of the Orpi real estate network has announced the dismissal of two of his agents who took part in the MEP Rima Hassan.
“We’re going to burn your Palestine to you”. On social networks this Friday, June 27, MEP Rima Hassan published a video in which two people appear in front of a Parisian agency on the Orpi network, take it to Gaza, at the heart of the rebellious commitment. “We’re going to burn your Palestine to you,” says a man, filmed by the European MP.
“It’s called anti-Palestinian racism,” she said, calling out the company’s official account.
“Could you explain to me how is it that one of your employees begins to me this way?” She asked, explaining “to have been attacked twice” before this same agency.
Faced with a controversy that quickly increased on social networks, the president of the real estate agency network apologizes to Rima Hassan and announces that the two agents were dismissed.
“Serious facts”
Evoking “serious facts” and comments “totally unacceptable (…) words of a discriminatory and threatening nature”, Guillaume Martinaud affirms that the “network has always advocated respect, tolerance and equal treatment for all (…) whatever their origins or their convictions”.
“After contacting the agency concerned to require appropriate disciplinary measures, the Partner of the Invest Immo agency has now dismissed the employees concerned,” added the president of Orpi in a press release published on social networks and shared by Rima Hassan. “Thank you,” replied the latter in reaction.
