The Spiegelberg Festival returns for its second edition from June 26 to 28, with an unchanged concept. Or various concerts, highlighting local and international music, to celebrate the territory of Franches-Montagnes.
After a successful first edition in 2023, the Spiegelberg Festival returns with an enriched program, mixing local and international artists. The Jurassic Festival wishes to surprise its audience by limiting itself to any specific musical genre or an emblematic site. Jazz, rock, reggae or pop, all styles are represented.
A traveling and singular festival
Among the artists on the poster, the Swiss group The Miracles Collection will occur in the old Noirmont church, while the German group The Notwist will play the Halle of the Saiglégier market. The festival is also distinguished by its atypical places, such as a hangar of historic trains, allowing visitors to discover the unique landscapes of the Franches-Montagnes.
“We believe in it,” declared in the 12:30 am of June 24, Congratician Donzé, president and programmer of the festival. “The first edition was a human success, with strong emotions and incredible places. This year, we come back with new places and new ideas. We are impatient.”
A program to surprise
Chloé Donzé, co-programmer, underlines the importance of parity and diversity in programming, with thirteen of the twenty groups including women: “We are very proud of them. These are high quality projects. They are not there because they are women. But because they are favorites”.
In addition to the concerts, the festival offers writing workshops involving people from migration. This artistic project, scheduled for June 27, testifies to the attachment of the organizers to their region and its inhabitants. Félicien Donzé explains: “The idea of ​​the festival was born from our strong link with this territory. We thought about what attracts us here, and we wanted to include those who did not choose to live in the Franches-Montagnes, to understand their feelings”.
The Spiegelberg Festival thus wishes to offer a rich and varied experience, combining music, human encounters and discoveries from the Franches-Montagnes region.
