In the south of the country, it was in the provinces of Walloon Brabant (+ 26.9 % of sales) and Luxembourg (+ 19.8 %) that the real estate market was the most lively during the first half of 2025 compared to the first half of 2024.
The other surprise of the barometer is in the analysis of real estate prices during the first part of the year. The price of a house has climbed 5.1 % overall into the country (at 346,648 euros), compared to the annual average of 2024. But in Wallonia, it increased by 13.4 % (to 270,627 euros on average).
