The Swiss Stock Exchange recorded first decreases in decline on Friday, after closing in the opposite direction Thursday. Investors remained marble against the avalanche of customs tariffs announced throughout the week.
Customs duties at 50% for copper and Brazil, from 25 to 40% for Asian countries and 35% on Canadian products have not been racked in investors, notes Swissquote analyst Ipek Ozkardeskaya.
In the United States, the New York Stock Exchange has closed up, enjoying data on employment in the United States better than expected, and continuing to put aside commercial uncertainties. The Dow Jones won 0.43%and the Nasdaq (+0.09%) and S&P 500 (+0.27%) indices have both set a new record in fence.
European scholarships have opened in the red. In the first exchanges, Paris lost 0.44%, Frankfurt gave up 0.47%and London 0.04%. Milan released 0.45%.
Around 9:10 am, the SMI star index lost 0.32% at 12,092.54 points, SLI 0.61% at 1989.63 points and SPI 0.61% at 16,749.61 points. Of the 31 stars values, only three appeared green.
In the lead, the Swiss Télécoms Swisscom telecoms took 0.2%. The Insurer Seiss Re followed (+0.1%) with Swiss Life (+0.05%). The red lantern returned to the luxury giant Richemont (-2.1%)
Novartis and Roche heavy goods vehicles fell 1.1%together. Nestlé also 0.7%. Searches took place Thursday at the headquarters of Nestlé France, near Paris, in the Mineral Water Scandal treated.
Excluding SMI, EMS-Chemie took 3.5% after the publication of its half-yearly results.
