Canyon has just presented its new Endurace electric road bike: Onfly. The brand focused its attention on light bike lightness, power and a fluid cycle to be piloted.

For its new coating: Onfly, the German brand Canyon started from the observation that electric road bikes had a slower evolution than the VTTAE. Admittedly, road bikes can take powerful engines, but it is often at the cost of a high weight and degraded maneuverability. This is why Canyon wanted to make the piloting of the coated: Onfly as natural as possible.
“A bike that looks like a normal high performance road bike”
In the press release sent to the editorial staff, we can read that the brand wanted to create a bike that looks like a “normal” high performance road bike. And that is noticed, or rather is not visually noticeable. The battery and the engine are indeed barely visible. Clearly, if I get doubled in a collar by a coated cyclist in a coated canyon: Onfly, I would tend to have a blow to morale, because I would not have seen that it is a VAE.

Byd Dolphin Surf: the most stylish of the electric compacts
With the byd Dolphin Surf, Byd shakes the electric car market. Available from € 19,990, this city car has a range of 507 km and recharges 30 to 80 % in just 22 minutes!
The TQ HPR40 (40 Nm) engine – just presenting as part of the Eurobike – can develop up to 200 watts of pedaling power and is almost not noticed. What is crazy is its weight: 1170 grams.
The versions equipped with Shimano Ultegra or Dura-Ace have the engine management command directly in the hanger.
The carbon frame is not too oversized in the oblique tube, the one that welcomes the battery; It is a TQ battery of 290 Wh. Canyon speaks, adding the range of autonomy of 160 Wh, 100 km and 2,000 m elevation for autonomy. The geometry is that of the Endurace Canyon, the road bike designed to go fast and far from Canyon.
Which also impresses: this is the weight. 9.86 kg for the most high -end version, 12.04 kg for the most affordable version.
The high -end version frame uses Neobeam technology to reduce the thickness of the frame tubes without compromising resistance. Result: 300 grams less on the scale. All versions, on the other hand, benefit from an anti -theft movement detector and a GPS tracer, visible via the Canyon application, but also from a Lightskin U1 Ultra front lighthouse and very discreet shall -Sightstays rear night lights.
