Already available for Sony and Fujifilm boxes, the Tamron 18-300 mm f/3.5-3 objective DI III-A VC VXD now arrives for Nikon and Canon devices.

Photo lenses: Understanding everything about the different optics for your camera
This is where zooms are taking all their interest thanks to the possibility of moving from a focal length to another for a wider or tighter plan. In this game, the Tamron 18-300 mm F/3.5-3 DI III-A VC VXD is particularly effective, since it allows you to enjoy a focal length ranging from 18 to 300 mm for APS-C cameras-is equivalent 27-450 mm in full format.
Only, the objective has so far been only proposed for Sony cameras in mount E or Fujifilm in X mount. This Thursday, Tamron announced the arrival of this optics on canon cameras in RF and Nikon in mount Z.
A particularly versatile telezoom
As for the models for Fujifilm and Sony, the RF and Z versions of Tamron 18-300 mm f/3.5-3 DI III-A VC VXD therefore offer an X16.6 zoom for very large versatility, ideal for example to go on a trip with a single optics. The objective also offers a minimum focus distance of 15 cm at the Grand Angle, for a magnification factor of X0.5, adapted to proxiphotography. It also has a VXD autofocus engine and VC optical stabilization.

For optical architecture, count 19 elements divided into 15 groups with a diaphragm with seven strips. The main downside of the lens, however, lies in its rather limited maximum opening of f/3.5 to 18 mm and from F/6.3 to 300 mm, not very suitable for the photos in low light.
