Finishes always as neat
No, we do not present the iPhone 13 here, even if everything seems to indicate, visually speaking. Indeed, the iPhone 14 adopts the same flat aluminum slices, the same edges in soft curves and the same back covered with a layer of glass. But it is not a bad thing, as the finishes are always so exemplary and the grip excellent.
Regarding its screen, the iPhone 14 incorporates a 6.1 inch OLED Super Retina XDR slab, which offers good brightness and infinite contrasts. What we appreciate much less is this cooling rate blocked at 60 Hz, a defect that we had difficulty accepting at the time when the smartphone cost even more than 1,000 euros. That said, for all uses that do not require significant fluidity, we fortunately remain on a very good slab.
The latest iPhone Lightning version
In the bowels of the iPhone 14, an A15 Bionic chip nestles, which he had borrowed from the iPhone 13 Pro. A processor that allows any application to run with perfect fluidity. Admittedly, it is not possible to push the graphic settings of games as far as a more recent chip, but you should be able to launch everything that is on the App Store without trembling too much.
On the photo side, the iPhone 14 has a 12 MP stabilized main sensor, an ultra-angle of 12 Mpx and a 12 MP selfie sensor with Autofocus. This module allows him to get out of it in correct conditions, but the bitter is sometimes set back on certain shots, while the absence of telephoto is regrettable. Finally, on the autonomy side, we had been able to use the iPhone 14 for two days before having to go through the recharge box.
Note, however, that the iPhone 14 has a Lightning port, not a USB-C port as on the most recent generations of Apple smartphones. This is why Apple removed this model, and two others, from the sale on its official website.
