To a school without phones for a better learning climate

Total prohibition of mobile phones
The digital action plan, of which fifteen out of twenty shares are already effective, is entering its last year of implementation. In particular, it will be a question of completing teaching by the development of themes such as cybersecurity, sustainable development or the digital work environment. Regarding the use of mobile phones and connected watches, a total ban during school time will come into force from February 2026. Only digital equipment provided by schools can be used in class. As for generative artificial intelligence, recommendations are issued for its use in the context of education. Finally, the 11th year students will pass in September an assessment of their digital skills, these representing the first volley to have benefited from structured digital education from 7e year.

The pilot project implementing the benchmark structure, a place of reception for primary school students temporarily excluded from their class, is renewed. This structure allows these students to maintain a link with their original class while benefiting from targeted support on social behavior. The educational team will continue to play an essential role in supporting school teaching teams, and in strengthening collaboration with parents by individualized care.

The integration of Provost Schools is actively preparing for their attachment to the Jura School System from 1is August 2026. An execution agreement between the cantons of Bern and the Jura entered into force on 1is July 2025. He settled the terms of passing from one system to another in order to ensure a harmonious transition. The education service held information sessions for the teaching staff of Moutier’s compulsory schools last spring. The new school year will mark the intensification of collaboration with them.

Post -element service
The post -compulsory training service continues its efforts to adapt to contemporary realities, in particular with the progressive integration of Moutier’s students in the CEJEF divisions and the digital action plan.

From August 2025, Moutier students who began their training will be welcomed in the CEJEF divisions of transition, technique, health-social, trade, professional maturity or even at the School of General Culture. For students who are intended for gymnasial studies, free canaine has been left for the Lycée de Bienne or that of Porrentruy.

The digital action plan continues to deploy according to the defined axes such as teaching, teacher training, technical equipment as well as taking into account the protection of the environment, data and people. A full continuing education course will be offered in the fall, accompanied by directives for the use of digital tools. An approved educational applications catalog will also be made available, while a unified digital identifier will be introduced from 2026.

In order to raise awareness among young people about domestic violence, the alternative game, developed by the French -speaking Conference of Equality offices, will be used in the CEJEF divisions. It is based on interactive scenarios and an educational file intended for teachers.
