Maëva Squiban won on the 7th stage of the Tour de France women 2025 on August 1. Member of the breakaway of the day, she finally left solo to win in Chambéry. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot took advantage of a failure of Kim Le Court to recover the yellow jersey.
Better twice than one. The Frenchman Maëva Squiban won for the second consecutive time on the Tour de France women 2025. Already winner of the 6th stage, the UAE-Adq runner also lifted her arms this August 1 on the 7th stage between Bourg-en-Bresse and Chambéry. She becomes the first tricolor to win 2 stages on the Tour de France since the return of the event in 2022.
A member of the breakaway of the day, Maëva Squiban made the difference in the last ascent of the day. No one could then catch her in the descent to Chambéry. Cédrine Kerbaol won second place in the sprint stage for a hair. Kim short keeps his yellow jersey after having rebuilt in the descent to Chambéry.
