It is in Ontario. especially in the Grand Toronto region, and in Edmonton that we find the highest number both of disappearances and sexual ads presenting indigenous women.
Although some cases of disappearance may not be linked to sexual traffic. or that an indigenous woman appearing in sexual advertising has never been officially considered to be disappeared, research and anecdotal evidence suggest that the two can be closely linked, underlines the analysis.
