United States – One more tackle to its Russian counterpart. From the roof of the White House, President Trump quipped this Tuesday, August 5 on the possible installation of “Nuclear missiles”when tension with Russia continues to climb.

The American president, flanked by bodyguards and under the protection of elite shooters, wandered over twenty minutes on the roof of the press room. He inspected the site of the future ballroom which he will have, under the eyes of dozens of agglutinated journalists below, at a good distance. The work for this building, funded by Trump and other private donors, is estimated at more than 200 million euros.

Asked what he intended to build, he replied, certainly to joke: “Missiles” Then “Nuclear missiles”before mimicking with his arm, it seems, the launch of such a machine.

The former real estate developer said he “Make a little walk”. “It’s just another way to spend my money on the country”still launched the billionaire, ensuring that he himself was funding the renovation work undertaken at the White House at his request.

Rhetorical climbing

The United States and Russia have been engaged in rhetorical escalation for several days. Donald Trump recently announced that he had ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines near Russia, in response to statements deemed provocative by ex-president Dmitri Medvedev, who has multiplied martial comments on Westerners on social networks since 2022. Moscow has raised a moratorium on the deployment of weapons of intermediate range, accusing Washington of stirring the arms race.

Former reality TV host, Trump is a specialist in half, half-local appearances, who rejoice his supporters and provide television channels with images with which they are fressed. In 2015, he announced his candidacy for the presidential election after slowly raising a golden escalator, a scene that remained in all memories. During the last presidential campaign, he staged himself in the cabin of a trash truck or serving fries in a McDonald’s restaurant.
