Two alleged accomplices arrested in Morocco extradited to France – Liberation

They are suspected of having had an essential role in the escape of Mohamed Amra. Two men, suspected of being accomplices of the drug trafficker who had escaped in May 2024 in the bloody attack of a penitentiary van are in extradition from Morocco, announced on Wednesday August 13, the Minister of Justice, Gérald Darmanin, confirming information from Parisian.

Aimed by arrest mandates, the two men were arrested last February in Morocco, the day after the arrest in Romania of Mohamed Amra, after nine months of run. “They will quickly be presented to a judge and will have to answer for their actions”, said the Keeper of the Seals on X. “The two alleged accomplices of Mr. Amra, whose cowardly escape cost the lives of two penitentiary agents, have just been extradited to France”, wrote the minister in his message, thanking the Moroccan authorities who have “Make this operation possible quickly”.

The two men, Alan G., 28, and Albinou DS, 38, were the subject of a red notice from Interpol. The first is considered by the investigators as part of the commando who attacked the penitentiary van in which Mohamed Amra was. After the deadly escape, the two men had fled to Morocco. Both are from Evreux, the city of origin of Mohamed Amra.

At least 41 other people are indicted, including rapper Koba Lad, suspected “To have been made aware of the escape project of Amra”. 30 others are currently in pre -trial detention, in this sprawling case which mobilized exceptional means to challenge the suspects, some of which were on the run abroad, including the two extraditious men of Morocco. Mohamed Amra, nicknamed “La Mouche”had escaped on May 14, 2024 during a real ambush during which two prison officers had been slaughtered and three seriously injured.
