Two deaths, including a Swiss, in an aircraft crash in France
An accident involving two aircraft occurred this Saturday in south-eastern France. A Swiss citizen is one of the two victims.

A Swiss national and another German died in a crash involving two tourism planes on Saturday afternoon in south-eastern France in Saint-Pons, AFP learned from local authorities.
A tractor plane and a glider aircraft took off shortly after 1:00 p.m. of Barcelonnette aerodrome and the accident occurred shortly after in the Ubaye valley, according to the same source.
A fire spread to vegetation and was quickly under control, said the department’s firefighters. The circumstances of the accident remain to be determined, said the gendarmerie.
