Silent so far on the circumstances of his father’s death, Camille Santoro has chosen to confide. Two years after this drama, the ex-star of “large families” evokes for the first time the disease which took his dad, in a message as modest as it is overwhelming.

This Friday, June 20, 2025, Camille Santoro confided with her Instagram community emotionally. In a poignant story (see slideshow), the former candidate of Large families: life in XXL returned to an intimate episode of his life: The death of his dadwhich occurred in 2023. A drama of which she had so far mentioned very little.

Very affected by this disappearance, the mother has never hidden how this loss has turned her daily life upside down. In legend of a tribute photo, she recently wrote: “Two years without you. You miss my life. I love you dad”. Pain that she continues to share Through sincere words and an intact proximity with its community of more than 870,000 subscribers.
His father’s house, a heart project
Since the death of her dad, Camille Santoro has bought the family home. A project as sentimental as symbolic. But for a long time, the exteriors had remained abandoned, for lack of energy or time. This Friday, everything changes. The pretty blonde does not hesitate to show herself in hand clearing, finally taking care of her garden, on social networks. The opportunity for her to evoke her father again: “It’s been almost a year since I bought the house and I admit that it was not really the priority“, she said.
If the latter had put aside the maintenance of exteriors, it is partly because it revived a painful memory. But today, she seems ready to turn a page. “My mother-in-law tried to maintain as she could. My brother, when he was in France, also did things. But the exteriors needed a big coolness”, She explained, before adding with relief: “It feels good when everything is clean, stored and clean“.
This renewal coincides with another highlight: his boys’ birthday. “Tomorrow, family day. It’s going to be too cool. We’re going to inaugurate the barbecue tonight. I’m very happy with everything that has been done”, she concluded with enthusiasm. The start of a new chapter despite the pain.
