An incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on rue Vanderkindere in Uccle on Tuesday afternoon, confirmed the Brussels prosecutor’s office. Two people clashed, presumably neighbors, but the circumstances of the facts are not yet clear at this stage. A Brussels influencer indicates, on Instagram, to be the victim.
During the altercation, one of the two people was injured in the head. According to the prosecution, the victim’s days are not in danger. It is the Brussels resident known on networks under the pseudonym “binks.de.bxl”.
On his Instagram account, the influencer explained that he “crossed a friend who was pursuing a man who had just assaulted a woman”. According to him, this man then left his home armed with a knife, before injuring him superficially in the face.
Brussels firefighters say they were alerted around 2:35 p.m. An SMUR and an ambulance were sent on the spot. The victim, conscious, was evacuated by simple ambulance to the hospital.
The police quickly intervened and arrested the suspect. The federal judicial police laboratory was required on site to make the findings.
The prosecution continues its investigation to determine the exact course of the facts.
