This is why the Department of Security, Institutions and Sport (DSIS) decided to pronounce, as of this Tuesday, a general ban on lighting fire outdoors in Valais.
Exceptions under conditions
Only grills in private spaces in urban areas remain tolerated. But they must respect strict conditions: the grill must be placed on a non -flammable surface (concrete, stone, etc.) and more than 10 m from any vegetation or flammable surface. The responsibility is the responsibility for the person who lights the fire.
