A few years ago, the potential arrival of a Legoland in Charleroi and later from Puy du Fou somewhere in Wallonia was put forward as the missing link that could make the south of the country, a place where tourists stay longer. Are the two projects still possible?

You have been alderman, assistant chief of staff, etc. What is different in this function?
The pace of life that leaves me only a few hours of sleep per day. I meet a lot of people. And then there is this double cap which imposes a plenary session and a commission session every week, the shuttles between Namur and Brussels, etc. The current budgetary context does not make it easier for a minister, but that encourages us to take our responsibilities by trying to give the citizen of quality public services.

What is really more complicated is that we are clearly exposed in the public sphere. When I was a cabinet chief (by René Collin: Editor’s note), it was a shadow role. The other day, I was with my son in the street and he said to me: “I think people are looking at you”. I may still sometimes find it difficult to put on the habit of minister, but I do not regret it.
