The Venoge Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary and opens its doors on Wednesday
The Vaudois festival celebrates its birthday in Penthaz. More than 40 artists will perform. The event is already full for Saturday.
In all, more than 40 artists are expected on the three scenes of the Gros-de-Vaud Festival (Archives).

The Venoge Festival Begins Wednesday in Penthaz (VD). For its 30th anniversary, from August 13 to 16, the demonstration notably increases Mika, Sean Paul, Bigflo & Oli, Gazo, IAM, UB40, Eddy de Pretto or Sheila. For the moment, only Saturday evening is complete.
However, this is the name of Jason Derulo who sits at the top of the poster for this 2025 edition. And for good reason, the American will perform for the first time in French -speaking Switzerland. Qualified as “real hitmaker” by the organizers, the RNB star has more than 250 million singles sold with titles like “Whatcha Say”, “Talk dirty” or “Want to Want Me”.

Jason Derulo will offer a “pop, electro, festive and general public spirit” evening on Friday evening, promise the organizers. Toulouse rappers Bigflo & Oli will also be featured during the same evening. Like the Swiss hip-hop pioneers, Sens Unik, who announced their return to the stage after fifteen years of absence.
“Revival” evening
On Saturday evening, Mika’s pop will resonate in Penthaz. IAM veterans will also be there, as is Eddy de Pretto. Several Swiss artists will also parade, like a colorless night, LOVE arrow or mosimann. This evening is “sold out”.
Like every year, the Venoge Festival will be entitled to its “Revival” evening on Thursday. On the menu: the King of Dancehall Sean Paul, UB40 and the French icon of Yéyé Sheila years. Without forgetting also the veteran hovering Plastic Bertrand.
As for the inaugural evening on Wednesday, it wants to be “100% Urban” with the rappers Gazo, Sch, Franglish or Jok’Air. Valaisanne KT Gorique will also go on stage.

In all, more than 40 artists are expected on the three scenes of Gros-de-Vaud festivalwhose budget reaches 5.5 million francs. The demonstration had attracted 42,000 spectators in 2024. The record year dates back to 2022 with 43,000 visitors, but the festival was then spread over five evenings.
