A new Fold and a new flip

This edition of Galaxy Unpacked is called Ultra Unfolds (translated by “Ultra opens up to you », in French), confirming that foldable smartphones will be in the spotlight. The first model will be the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Samsung has already published a teaser which gives a brief overview of the device.

The screens would be larger, going to 8.2 inch for the main screen and 6.5 inches for the external screen, against 7.6 and 6.3 inches for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The processor would be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. On the photo side, it would pass to a lens 200 megapixels, against 50 megapixels for its predecessor. A leak from the Nieuwemobiel.NL site indicates that the device would be at a price of 2,227 euros in Italy for the 256 GB version, just under 2,200 euros with French VAT, a significant increase of 200 euros.
Samsung also plans to launch a new valve model, the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Futura has already taken stock of rumors around this model, which would have a main screen of 6.85 chips, an external screen of 3.6 or 4 inch, and a Exynos 2500 chip.
