We are not finished with the rain, a province on yellow alert and the number 1722 still active: here are the weather forecast for this Friday

No respite for the weather: the rain is invited again this Friday and should play extensions throughout the weekend, warns the Royal Meteorological Institute.

The umbrellas will be released again throughout the day on Friday, announces the Royal Meteorological Institute in its daily bulletin. This gloomy time should still be extended during a major part of the weekend.

Between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., periods of rain or strong showers will follow one another on our territory. In the province of Liège and Luxembourg mainly, cumulative people will be able to reach 20 to 30 mm over this period (sometimes more than 40 mm on the relief), which motivated the Royal Meteorological Institute to issue a yellow signal for these two provinces. On the other regions, the cumulators will rather be around 10 to 20 mm (even very locally more). On Saturday, 10 to locally an additional 20 mm can be added to the cumulation already observed.

In a moderate wind from west to northwest, the mercury will climb to 16 degrees in high Ardenne, 18 or 19 degrees by the sea and 21 or 22 degrees in Flanders.

The rain will continue in the south-east of the country in the evening, while the thinning will return to the rest of the regions. The clouds and new showers will return during the night via the coast. The minima will go from 10 to 17 degrees, in a moderate wind from North-West to West.

The weekend will start under the clouds and new showers, sometimes quite strong and stormy. Temperatures will also descend between 14 and 19 degrees, in a wind always moderate from west to northwest.

The thinning will return Sunday in the morning, before the return of the rain from the coast in the afternoon. Temperatures will vary between 17 and 21 degrees.
