Black, yellow, red: the village square has adorned the colors of Belgium a few days ago on the occasion of the Eirago-Belgian party.
The merger of Belgian, French and Provençal cultures
More than a tradition for over 25 years, the event celebrates the fraternity between Eyraguais and Belgians around gastronomy, music and sharing values.
A popular event where the fusion of Belgian, French and Provencal cultures distinguished itself through gastronomy and conviviality.
In the square, Flemish, Walloon and Eyraguais met to share a celebration moment, animated by Gérard Animation, tireless master of ceremonies.
At the center of the festivities, the traditional feast has not failed in its reputation: 600 kg of mussels and 350 kg of fries, served by forty five volunteers from the festival committee, delighted the assembly.
More than a simple celebration, the Eirago-Belgian celebration stands out as the living symbol of a cross-border friendship, woven year after year between the inhabitants of Eyragues and their Belgian friends, making the spirit of fraternity shine in the heart of Provence.
