Scheduled for October 2, 2025, Ghost of Yōtei will be exclusively released on PlayStation 5. The game takes place in the region of Yōteiin a darker atmosphere than the previous opus. What is this suite of Ghost of Tsushima?
Ghost of Yōtei takes place in the 17th century rural Japan, 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The story of the game is this time focused on ATSU, a lonely mercenary with a heavy past, in a quest for revenge in order to find those who killed his family earlier. Atsu will have to track down a group of six outlaws in Ezo’s unexplored land.
Open world game, you will have to explore wild regions and around Mount Yōtei on horseback or on foot, in picturesque landscapes in northern Japan. You go through meadows, snowy tundras or fields of flowers in what promises to be a feast for the eyes.
Although promoting freedom, the story contacted by Sucker Punch is at the heart of the game. You will be regularly led to interact with various characters, but will also be able to browse the card and take part in secondary quests to allow Atsu to gain experience and skills.
