Will the record for the largest farandole in Belgium be broken this Saturday in ATTR?

After two editions canceled because of the weather, the ath’peros intend to catch up with lost time. This Saturday, they will stop at the Château d’Atter, for an evening under the sign of the party and the challenge! Indeed, the organizers set out to break the record for the largest farandole in Belgium. The idea appeared, when they attended a concert of the Poulcroche which recently signed their comeback on stage. “”We found ourselves at a concert in Poulcroche this summer “Explains Grégory Jorion, one of the organizers of the ath’peros.”On one of their songs, it is customary to make a farandole. During this sequence, seeing that everyone lent themselves to the game, we thought it would be nice to challenge ourselves to beat the record for the biggest farandole in Belgium during our event, to ATTER.“The Belgian record amounts to 646 people, and it dates back to the year 2020 during a popular event in Marche-en-Famenne.”So we recruited the local group for our ath’peros this Saturday. They will play at 8:30 p.m., and as soon as the Farandole sequence is launched, we hope that the public will follow us.“And the record could easily be broken since more than 1000 presses have already been sold!
