Alex Albon hopes to find better performances this weekend during the Belgian Grand Prix. The Williams F1 driver loves Spa-Francorchamps and recalls that the Grove team was already performing there in previous years.
Williams could be in trouble because of difficulty cooling his engine, which requires a reduction in aerodynamic performance, but it remains positive, in particular thanks to the developments that arrive.
“Spa is one of the strengths of the shopping calendar, so I can’t wait to go back this weekend. It is always an exciting and unpredictable race, and it is a circuit on which we were generally strong, so I am positive” said Albon.
“We had a short break between Silverstone and Spa to reset and better understand the car, by bringing together the teachings of the last races. It is good to see that improvements are made to the car, which, I hope, will help us to finish the first half of the season on a good note.”
Carlos Sainz received an ultimatum from Williams, who asked him to raise his level of play for the second part of the season, and he hopes to start this weekend: “While we go to Belgium for the penultimate race before the summer break, we all had a little free time from Silverstone.”
