Samsung surprised everyone with the announcement of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe. This model is not completely new, but rather a reissued version of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with some adjustments. This type of strategy is not new: Motorola already does it with its RAZR range. The real question therefore remains simple for many users: should we buy a shell if you go to the FE version of the new model?
Inside, some elements differ. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has an exynos 2400 processor, less efficient than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 of the Flip 6. It also has 8 GB of RAM, against 12 GB for its predecessor. On the other hand, the price is significantly lower: when it is launched, the Z Flip 7 Fe is offered at € 900 for the 256 GB version. A 128 GB declination is also planned at the same price, once the promotions are completed. On the color side, only black or white are available for the moment.

Clear, All shells, protections or accessories designed for Flip 6 are perfectly compatible with the Z Flip 7 Fe.
With this FE model, Samsung clearly seeks to offer a more affordable alternative … everything intelligently positioning its range. The price of the Z Flip 7 FE remains close to that of the classic Z Flip 7, which can encourage some to opt for the more expensive version. In summary, if you already have accessories for the Z Flip 6, no need to go back to the checkout. Compatibility is total, which facilitates transition to this new more accessible model.
