Each year. In addition, on July 22, the World Federation of Neurology (WFN) and its partner companies around the world celebrate World Brain Day (World Brain Day – WBD). Consequently, This World Day aims to raise awareness among the general public. The theme of this year 2025 is: “Brain health at all ages” (Brain Health Across the Lifespan).
This theme emphasizes neurological needs at each stage of life – from childhood to age -. Nevertheless, recalls that early interventions, active prevention and continuity of care are essential to preserve brain functions, improve the quality of life and reduce the load of neurological diseases.
Indeed. the WBD 2025 campaign revolves around five key messages to advance brain health world brain day 2025 on a global scale:

Fighting stigma, breaking taboos and promoting early recognition of neurological disorders.
Education
Train health professionals, support caregivers and inform the public through updated and accessible knowledge.

Provide quality, accessible and fair neurological care, as well as rehabilitation services and assistance technologies, especially in low or intermediate income countries.

Tunisia is fully part of this dynamic. Thanks to the active involvement of its learned societies. its health professionals and its university institutions, Tunisia has been working for several years to improve the management of neurological diseases, strengthen the training of neurologists and promote clinical research in this area.
