Xiaomi launched the Redmi K Pad last month, its first compact flagship tablet. Although the Redmi K Pad remains exclusive to the Chinese market, many reports have surfaced, several reports have surfaced indicating a potential world outing and a new leak now seems to corroborate this theory.
According to the Chinese Leaker Experience More, Xiaomi is preparing the Redmi K Pad for a global launch. The tablet should abandon the Redmi brand which it wears in China, for the benefit of an Xiaomi brand. To be exact, it should arrive on the world market under the name of “Xiaomi Pad Mini” and directly target the iPad Mini 7 of Appleipad Mini 7.
Previous reports claimed that the Redmi K Pad could be launched worldwide under the name of Poco F Pad but these rumors seem to have been inaccurate. Instead, it seems that the compact flagship tablet will be located above the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro as the most upscale tablet in the company, thanks to its powerful Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The exact release date is not yet known, but it would not be surprising to see the tablet starting with the Xiaomi 15T in the month of September.
