Steam’s new performance monitor introduces a new calculation method to measure GPU use. To activate this new performance monitor, go to the Settings menu> in play and scrolle to the “Overlay performance monitor” section.
You can define here the location of the monitor, the data displayed (FPS, CPU, RAM, VRAM) but also the appearance of the text, such as its size, saturation or contrast. The opacity of the bottom can also be changed to make the display more discreet.
