Organized under the theme: “Innovation. Similarly, autonomy: artificial intelligence and local manufacturing at the service of African health systems”, this major event is positioned as a strategic platform to rethink the health future of the continent.
A showcase for medical innovation in Africa
At the crossroads of the scientific. industrial and institutional worlds, the conference brings together governments, international agencies, pharmaceutical laboratories, and companies specializing in medical technologies. Objective: promote local production of drugs, promote AI applied africa mobilized intelligent health sovereignty to health and strengthen Africa’s health sovereignty, while stimulating foreign investment.

Among the participants. the Moroccan Imane Kandili, psychiatrist and president of the NGO African Global Health, highlighted the pioneering role of Morocco in the promotion of health risk reduction, by evoking the African charter adopted in Marrakech during a previous continental conference.
She indicated that her organization will continue. in this dynamic, actions to raise awareness of health sovereignty, through various forums and campaigns to come in several African countries.
Professor Khalid Fathi. gynecologist-obstetrician at the Souissi maternity hospital in Rabat and teacher at the Faculty of Medicine, praised the scope of this meeting to africa mobilized intelligent health sovereignty accelerate the integration of AI into African health systems, insisting on the importance of a South-South scientific dialogue.
According to him. the Moroccan delegation-made up of researchers and decision-makers-intends to strengthen the pan-African partnerships, at a time when the lessons of the Pandemic of Covid-19 are recalling the urgency of collective health independence.
