5 beautiful free places to make a picnic

When the sunny days are installed, there is nothing more pleasant than taking out its cover, filling a basket of good products from here and enjoying nature. Here is a small selection of places of Quebec for a solo picnic, with friends or family.

This Riverain park is one of Quebec’s best kept secrets. Located on the edge of the St. Lawrence River between the Sainte-Foy and Cap-Rouge sectors, it offers a breathtaking view of bridges, boaters and large liners. Large grassy spaces, a pebble beach, wooded paths and picnic tables make it a peaceful and inspiring place to break the hair in the wind.

2. Park of the Falls – la – Chaudière, boiler – Appalaches

This park offers a splendid nature setting thanks to its 35 -meter high falls. The edge of the Chaudière river is therefore a nice place for a picnic. You will find fitted tables, a seasonal breakage, toilets and free parking. After extending your blanket to the banks of the river, you can explore 4.5 km of trails, cross a suspended gateway 113 m long at 23 m above water or take a bike ride on the green road segment.

3. Petit -Aboteau park, Kamouraska, Bas – Saint -Laurent

This small quiet park on the edge of the river, located near the village of Kamouraska, is a real haven of peace, ideal for a contemplative picnic. There are tables, a nearby parking lot and a breathtaking view of the river. At sunset, the atmosphere is simply magical. An essential discreet of Bas – Saint -Laurent.

4. Bois-de-Liese, Montreal Park-Nature

Only a few kilometers from downtown Montreal, this nature park is home to one of the last mature grocers on the island. Its many trails cross wood, meadows and streams. There are areas fitted out for picnics, play areas, free wifi and a soothing atmosphere, far from urban effervescence.

Along the Prairies River, this park offers a real haven of peace while remaining on the island. Pedestrian trails and cycle paths wind the place, which is prized for its picnic tables. Looking for a quick meal? Visit the Terrace du Café Festigue for a well-deserved break in an enchanting setting.
