Sony widens its Gaming Inzone range, so far focused on audio and screens accessories, with the arrival of new devices designed to seduce competitive players.
The Japanese giant Sony took advantage of the enthusiasm generated by Gamescom to present the new features of its Gaming Inzone accessories brand, launched in 2022. On the program, a new audio helmet, the inzone H9 II, high-end oriented, and intra-ear headphones, Inzone E9. But proof that the manufacturer of the PlayStation wants to become a serious competitor in Logitech, Razer and other manufacturers of Gaming accessories, Sony also unveiled new products for PC players. On the program, a mechanical keyboard, an ultralight mouse and two mouse mats.
Two new audio accessories
The H9 II II Resumes the DNA of its predecessor with high fidelity sound, active noise reduction and optimized comfort for long sessions. He joined the Sony helmet speakers WH-1000XM6 And is distinguished by a removable cardioid microphone coupled with a noise reduction assisted by AI. Light (260 g) and with a 30 -hour autonomy, it clearly targets professional players and streamers.
THE Inzone E9 are a more discreet alternative. With their closed design and insulating tips, they bet on sound accuracy and passive insulation, an asset in tournament.
PC peripherals in the viewfinder
In parallel, Sony above all announced the launch of new ranges of Inzone products, including a mechanical and compact keyboard, the KBD-H75. The emphasis was placed on the reactivity of the keys, as well as on the interrogation frequency which goes up to 8,000 Hz to reduce latency.
His first mouse, the Mouse-A, is particularly light with only 48.4g on the scale. Equipped with an exclusive sensor up to 30,000 DPIs and an announced autonomy of 90 hours, it is both reactive and enduring, with almost zero latency.
Finally, more amazing accessories: mouse mats mytf and mat-d. Sony ensures that they have been designed to adapt to different playing styles. Matt (6 mm) favors precision and control, while mat-D (4 mm) is focusing on speed and fluidity.
An assumed upright
This diversification confirms Sony’s ambition on the high -end gaming peripheral segment, so far dominated by actors such as Logitech, Razer or Steelseries. With prices ranging from € 59.99 for the mat-d at € 349.99 for the H9 IIthe brand settles directly on the premium niche.
- Inzone H9 II will be available from September at the price of 349,99 €
- Inzone E9 will be available at the start of the school year 149,99 €
- The Inzone KBD-H75 gaming keyboard will be available from September at the price of 299,99 €
- The Inzone Mouse-A gaming mouse will be available at the start of the school year 179,99 €
- The Gaming Inzone Mat-D mouse carpet will be available from September at the price of 59,99 €
- The Inzone Mat-F gaming mouse carpet will be available at the start of the school year 99,99 €
The fact remains that the prices offered by Sony remain very high, which raises the question of whether the manufacturer does not go a little too fast in work and, above all, in the case of mouse mats, if it does not exaggerate completely. Even if the brand targets passionate players and professionals -Sony has strengthened its partnership with Fnatic -, 100 euros for a mouse mat, it’s still a little expensive, right?
