Dodge | The thermal versions of the loader revealed, to stimulate sales

From January to July, barely 360 Dodge Charger Daytona – the electric variant – found takers in Canada. It is therefore far from a commercial success, for various reasons. Marketed in parallel with the Daytona, the sixpack versions inaugurate an important philosophical change under the hood of the American. The thermal load is also intended to be more versatile due to the integration of the full inheritance, an option which was previously reserved for the entry -level V6. This can decouple the front wheels on request by means of an oiled clutch game, which allows 100 % of the torque to be transferred to the rear wheels. An eight -speed automatic transmission is the only one offered, to guide everything.

Assembly in Windsor, Ontario, this load will be offered in bodywork with two doors and four doors, a choice of unprecedented configuration in its segment. That said, with the abandonment of the Chevrolet Camaro, only the Ford Mustang turns out to be a direct competitor, with a very different approach, even much more nostalgic. The Dodge Charger Sixpack will soon be marketed in the country at a starting price of $ 59,995 for the R/T version of 420 hp. The 550 hp coupe pack declination will arrive at the beginning of 2026 and the sedans are expected later.
