Scarlett Johansson believes that he is more rarely offered roles soliciting his physique than in his youth.

After piercing in Lost in Translation From Sofia Coppola in 2003, the actress had the impression that she was only offered roles according to her advantageous physique. But young actresses seem to have more choices today.
“You know, the time is different for young women. The messages are different-there are many more models, women are visible in positions of power and the opportunities I have had to play women who are not forced to be one thing or another have multiplied, ” Sunday Times.
“But when I was younger, a lot of roles that I was offered or accepted were for characters whose ambitions and history were revolving around their own desirability, male gaze or a scenario centered on man. It is less frequent, however, something has changed ”.
To avoid being cataloged as a sex symbol, the star of Black Widow still chose his roles carefully in the past.
“My responsibility was therefore to be productive, to try to maintain the momentum of my career and to wait for things to go well,” she said.
“It’s difficult because there is an existential anxiety that comes with the wait, but I had to leave space for the creative process to do his work. It was trying for the nerves. I work in a sector where you have the impression at any time, we will not be useful. But I think it pays – I know that is the case. ”
