An alleged sexual predator of Thetford Mines has recently sexually assaulted a mother and her 12 -year -old girl. The Sûreté du Québec fears that the 64 -year -old man has been able to make more victims.
Serge Lajeunesse would have committed extremely disturbing gestures in recent months in this municipality of Chaudière-Appalaches.
On a few occasions, he would have entered the accommodation of a 41 -year -old mother and her 12 -year -old daughter without inviting to commit gestures of a sexual nature.
In particular, he would have touched the genitals and was also masturbated in front of one or the other of the victims.
Denounced to the police, Lajeunesse was arrested and he remained detained following his appearance.
He faces several charges, including sexual assault, sexual contacts and criminal harassment.
The alleged sexual predator must return to court on July 4 for his investigation into release.
“The investigation tends to demonstrate that the suspect could have made other victims in connection with sexual offenses,” said Quebec Sûreté by press release.
According to our information, Thetford Mines man was also arrested during the winter for gestures committed with regard to an 88 -year -old elder. He had been released with a promise to appear on July 29.
Anyone who would have been the victim of Serge Lajeunesse or who knows someone who could have been invited to communicate with the Criminal Information Central of the Sûreté du Québec, at 1 800 659-4264.
