The sale of brand clothing contributes 2% to European GDP, with 331.8 billion euros, and generates 4.5 million jobs, according to an Oxford Economics study commanded by the European Branded Clothing Association (EBCA).

This federation brings together 70 major brands of the old continent. accumulating by their respective activities more than 250,000 jobs. The trade in brands is to date represent 80% of the European retail sale of clothing.
