Faced with an increase in cases of sexually transmitted infections (IST) in Chlamydia and Gonococcus, Health Insurance is launching a new device to facilitate their screening in young women aged 18-25; A service that will be extended to men from the same age group during the second half of 2025.
From the 1stis July 2025, young women from 18 to 25 years old inclusive can order and receive discreetly and without the advance of costs, at home, a self -reproductive and screening kit of sexually transmitted infections. This offer is 100 % covered by health insurance, without advance: there is nothing to pay when ordering. As with the majority of medical biology analyzes, a fixed participation of 2 euros remains applicable and will be deducted from a future reimbursement.
This device will be extended to men of the same age group during the second half of 2025.
