PartnershipAlways more new “Savurando” in Swiss parks
There is soon a single natural park in Switzerland where there is not a gourmet treasure hunt
The “Savurando” culinary hikes are more and more numerous to see the light of day in Swiss parks: it is soon no longer a single natural park in Switzerland where there is not a gourmet treasure hunt, which guides the visitor to discover a region, its landscapes and its regional specialties.
At the four corners of the country, always more Swiss parks offer to discover culinary specialties and unique panoramas through a tasty hike. While walking around and having fun, from post to post, hikers and hikers solve puzzles that guide them on the rest of the tasting course. Some essentials to embark on a “Savurando”? A pocket knife, walking shoes, a backpack … and a good dose of curiosity and gluttony!
One of the latest “Savurando” to have seen the light of day is in Ela park, in Graubünden. From June to October, visitors passionate about nature and regionality can discover the surroundings by walking and tasting products from local producers. The hike leads through various forests and pretty villages: mountain panorama, dry flowers and pure air invite contemplation … The puzzles (in German) allow you to learn more in a fun way on nature and history in the largest regional natural park in Switzerland.
With friends, as a couple, family or colleagues, this experience promises moments of escape and tasting: be it cheese, herbs, bread or wine, the palette of regional specialties produced and transformed in Swiss parks reflects the richness of the Swiss culinary heritage. Count 4 to 6 a.m. for experience including 2 to 3 hours of walking, to the rhythm of each.
