The commercial professional school of Friborg (EPC) obtains the label of bilingualism, attributed by the forum of bilingualism. Its discount took place on Friday, in the presence of representatives of the Bilingualism Forum, the Directorate of the EPC and the Deputy Bernhard Altermatt.
(Keystone-ATS) The official distinction recognizes the sustained commitment of the establishment in favor of “quality education in French and German, adapted to the cultural and linguistic realities of the canton of Friborg”, indicated the forum of bilingualism, an organization located in Bienne (BE), and the State of Friborg.
With more than 1,200 students, the EPC offers training in the two national languages ​​as well as multiple bilingual curriculum in the fields of trade, sales/pharmacy and digital technologies. “Bilingualism is fully integrated into educational culture,” notes the common press release.
An aspect that “promotes employability, intercultural cohesion and professional integration into a multilingual socio-economic space”. Teacher and administrative staff also reflect commitment: more than 40 teachers thus have a case in bilingual education.
