One of the most successful players in Europe is undoubtedly Kosovare Asllani.
Former winner of the Golden Soulier and candidate for the Ballon d’Or, she played her 200ᵉ match with Sweden in the 1-0 victory against Denmark, writes Albinfo.ch.
Kosovare, who wore the captain’s armband, delivered the assist for the only goal of the meeting, thus offering three precious points to Sweden in this European female championship which takes place in Switzerland.
After the match, she celebrated this feat by brandishing a flocked jersey of the number 200 in front of the Swedish supporters, in symbol of her 200 selections.
The match was played in Geneva.
Kosovare Asllani has been playing with the Swedish selection since 2008, has scored 48 goals and participated in European championships, World Cups and Olympic Games.
